Whoaaa

Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks to the people who've been following and reading my blog. I really appreciate the support you've given. My blog isn't dead, by far. I've just been extremely busy with school work lately and haven't had much time to write anything new.

I give all my support to everyone who has been supporting me and I will continue to do so. Thank you for reading my blog and sharing my feelings with me. Haha.

It's been a while!!

I've been very busy the last few days! Thursday I went to Tidball's with J-Wat and then Friday and Saturday I traveled to Tennessee to celebrate Jason's 21st birthday. Poor Jason got kicked out of the bar on his birthday... I felt bad for him. At least we were able to make up for it last night. It was a good night, a lot of people showed and we had an overall great time drinking brewskis and talking about our lives.

So now I am back in the big BG and still have a mess of homework to do... These next 3 months are really gonna test me.

On another random note, I've been listening to a lot of Whitesnake and Mr. Big lately. If you know the bands just by one of their famous songs, I recommend checking out their other material. Great guitars, great vocals, great lyrics. Totally worth your time to grab a CD  or buy from iTunes (or YouTube or whatever music means you prefer).

I'll be back sometime this week again to post, probably tomorrow. Hope you guys come check back with me soon! Until then, I've gotta write a java program and for the life of me can't do basic stuff. Blargh. Off to /g/ I guess.

Lights Out - Rick Astley

Check it out guys. Rick Astley's first big single for the first time in 17 years. This is the new Rick Roll.

September 1

Well it's finally September! It feels like the summer blazed by this year. Maybe it was because I was busy all summer? I have no idea. I had a linear algebra class (that I got an A in, thank God) and then multiple concerts in July, then spending time in Illinois to complete my summer.

Yesterday while driving home, there was a lonely tortoise crossing the road. He had to be really old because he was about as long and wide as my laptop. I took a picture but haven't been able to get it off my phone yet, so I'll be sure to show you this big tortoise whenever I get a chance to pull it off. The tortoise had to be pretty old to be that size.

Yesterday was also my friend Jason Dailey's birthday. We went out to Overtime to celebrate and had a real good time. We laughed the whole night and it was definitely a great 21st birthday for him.

So now today I am sitting in the math lab waiting for my discrete class to start at 11:30. I have to get up here early in order to find a parking spot =(. I guess that's the way it is on any campus though.

During my huge break today I'm gonna complete my English work for the week so that I can enjoy Thursday and Friday with my friends. Friday is my other friend's 21st, so it'll definitely be a blast all over again.

A Great Source for Infographics

A new blog I am writing is called Infograps For You. It's a project of mine to allow people easy access to find information about random things and some times important things such as money and life. If you're following me, or even if you're just reading this, be sure to check out that blog. Follow, bookmark, comment.

Hope to hear from all of you! The link is below

Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience

This was announced a couple of weeks ago I believe and has been stirring up the airwaves for quite a while. Jason Bonham, son of the late John Bonham (drummer for Led Zeppelin), has decided to do a tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of his father's passing.

He talked about it on a YouTube video here.

I'd love to go see this show, personally. However, according to his tour list of about 30 shows, not many will reach the south east.

If you want to check out his site promoting the tour, the link is below. Check it out, see if there's a tour close to you, and definitely go to it. Jason is a very talented drummer just like his father.

Woo! Out of class!

The first class I am taking this semester just ended a while ago. The course I am taking is discrete mathematics... It sounds hard, but hopefully it won't give me too much difficulty.

Random thought, but I just saw da ambalamps up at TCCW picking up someone... I hope they're okay.

It's kinda boring right now because I don't have any songs on my iPhone right now :(. The firmware didn't update properly to iOS 4.0, so I had to redo everything, lost numbers, the whole nine yards.

Fortunately, I managed to print screen the numbers I had on my computer before I did the update and so it wasn't much harder than having to re-enter them. Not that it's difficult but it's tedious, you know.

Things are looking like they'll be good this semester. The only other course I worry about is my data structures and algorithms course. We'll see how all that goes tomorrow. Until then I've got to figure out something to do, after I am finished writing this entry, for the next couple of hours.

Class today!

Today I am getting ready to go to class for the first time this semester. I'm pretty excited about it, actually. Had to wake up early and make sure that I got everything ready and things were the way they needed to be before I headed out.

I don't know too much other than that. I didn't get much sleep last night so my eyes are super red. It's okay though because today is going to be a GREAT day, despite the overcast and crowded parking at WKU. =)

Post Camping Trip

The camping trip I mentioned yesterday going on was AWESOME! We had a blast sitting by the fire doing all the classic camp things: roasting marshmallows, eating smores, hot dogs, etc.The camp site was out by a lake so we could see the moon through a willow tree we were beside as it cast light onto the lake... Very scenic.

Sadly, I also had to drive home today. The drive is seven hours, but 45 minutes of it was spent trying to get through Chicago traffic. >_<

So now I am back at home getting prepared for school tomorrow. I dunno whether to be excited or not... Haha. I'll update the blog after my classes tomorrow, so be sure to come back tomorrow so I can tell you what I think!

Subway: Eat Hair!

Today Karina and I went to the Westfield Hawthorn shopping mall in Vernon Hills, IL. It's a really nice place and has two stories full of retail stores and over all a good environment. We went to the Subway to have lunch and I ordered a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwich on honey oat. As I was eating my sandwich, Karina looks over to me and says, "Uhh..." Curious about what she was staring at,  I looked down and noticed a 6 inch hair baked into the bread of my sandwich...

Needless to say I wasn't very hungry afterward.

Aside from that, since it's my last night up here before I have to drive back, we're going to go camping with one of her friends this evening. Nice weather + Being outdoors = Fun.

Mmm... Noodles.

While I've been travelling, I've been hunting for new places to eat. Why should I go to the same places that are in every town like McDonalds, Burger King, any fast food chain really. One of my favorite new restaurants to eat at is Noodles & Company. They offer a great selection of pastas and rolls that will make you salivate as soon as you walk in. The thing I like to eat the most is the Japanese pan noodles with sautéed beef. Check out their website to see if there is one near you. I highly recommend it!

Welcome to my blog!

Hello readers, I am glad that you decided to check out my blog. A little about me, I am a college undergrad trying to work my way towards a bachelors in computer science and a bachelors in mathematics. I enjoy classic rock music and hanging out with my good friends. The purpose of this blog is to give myself a place to share my thoughts and ideas with everyone, as well as sharing my tastes in music and entertainment. With that being said, here's a video of my favorite band, Led Zeppelin, along with one of my favorite Zeppelin songs, Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp
